PS3 sales pass 2m … a couple of weeks ‘late’
Sony had forecast to sell 2m units by the end of December, and has just managed the feat. Not exactly a disastrous result surely? PS3 sales are actually higher than PS2 sales at the same period after launch - that console didn’t exactly do badly, did it?
A tougher target is to sell 6m by the end of March. The forecast from Nomura (an investment bank) is more like 4.5m.
