Google Switch - iPhone rival?

It seems that all the big names in the Tech world are getting into mobile phones.  Google has been rumoured to be looking at branding a mobile phone for a while now, possibly in partnership with Orange.

This is the latest ‘leaked’ photo.  Whether it’s anything like real, well it’s impossible to tell.  But if it is, then it’s another iPhone type touchscreen.

So what would set it apart?  Well, a GPS system built in utilising Google Maps, and a Gtalk based contact system.

However, its stumbling block might be the fact it’s rumoured to have no onboard storage - all applications are served up over the network with new apps ‘attached’ to your account via a web interface.  That I can’t see taking off - can you?
