LG have unveiled their latest design and collaboration, the Prada phone. Launching earlier than the iPhone, it will also be around two-thirds of the price (compared to the higher spec iPhone) - but won’t have the same music capabilities.

Also recently announced is their new Shine device, which again appears to play primarily on looks.

Personal experience with the LG Chocolate (said to have reached 7 million sales) mean you ought not hold out much hope for usability with these devices. But maybe the new touch interface will improve on that?

LG also announced that they are relocating their European HQ to the UK, reinfocing the importance of the market which accounts for around 10% of LG’s global sales.
